Akendi’s Web Interaction Design services help to define the behaviour of your website or rich internet application (RIA) and align that behaviour to its users’ needs.

How We Do It

Based on a proven process and industry best practices, we will research and create an effective interaction design for your website. We will begin by understanding your business goals, requirements, and vision for the site.

Next, we may employ field research, personas and usage scenarios to uncover your web users’ goals and behaviours. Based on this information, we will then develop:

• User requirement specification for the web, ria design
• An interaction design, wireframes and design elements
• Adapt or create your brand identity to tie the website into your corporate brand

Social Experience Design

Social Experience Design (SXD) is Akendi’s user-centric approach to social media design, implementation, and strategy that accounts for how different kinds of users engage with social media, and how sites and application design and execution lead to emergent social practices. It applies to our user experience design (UX), interaction design (IxD), user interface design (UI), and information architecture (IA). It will draw on insights from psychology, sociology, anthropology, communication theory, and media theory here at Akendi.

To support your specific needs, we may also incorporate a combination of information architecture creation, mobile user experience design, usability testing and wireframes.

We will hand off a complete web interaction design, wireframes and specifications for development by either your staff or our resources.
