The expandable, updatable and instantaneous qualities of a website can also be its greatest weakness. Without a clear set of policies and processes to govern a website’s development and maintenance, it can quickly become unruly, difficult to use, and ineffective.

Akendi is experienced in developing Web Governance Frameworks that are tailored to each organization and/or each online property. The framework identifies and specifies responsibilities and accountability for the site and its content throughout the organization.

How We Do It

We begin by consulting with your organizations, the site’s key stakeholders and content owners. We then apply a “4x4 canvas” to create an implement the optimal level of governance for your site’s development and ongoing maintenance.

The framework will include key performance indicators (KPIs) to enable you to monitor and measure the framework’s effectiveness and the stakeholders’ adherence. We will also provide you with measures to gauge and monitor your website’s governance maturity.
