User Personas & Scenarios
Learning how your users act, think and engage with your business application software is a powerful way to ensure that its users will recommend it to friends, remain loyal to your organization, and provide recurring revenue through upgrades and new purchases.
Akendi keeps you innovative by ensuring your organization understands its customers’ and users’ motivations and context of use. Through research and development of user personas and usage scenarios, we’ll provide the necessary perspectives to create a compelling software user experience.
User Persona Research
User Personas help your organization and staff to gain insight into target customers, end users, buyers and customer organizations.
Through stakeholder research within your organization as well as external field research, contextual inquiries and interviews we will personify and characterize the group or groups of people who share common goals and needs for using your software or web application.
Each User Persona will be brought to life through visuals, context of use, personal descriptions, goals & motivations and attributes.
Task Analysis & Usage Scenario Research
Usage Scenarios are natural extensions of user persona research and they are invaluable in guiding the requirements and design for your digital product’s user interface. We research usage scenarios through observation, contextual inquiries, interviews and workshops with end users, customers and clients of your organisation.
Each usage scenario details specific actions or tasks that individuals will perform as they interact with your software user interface.
- Reveal relationships between individual tasks and activities
- Isolate the potential impact of the user’s environment on the intended goals for using the software
- Identify not just what actions users take, but also the context of use – such as how, where, when and with what motivation they take those actions
- Help to ensure a complete, effective and efficient software user interface – thereby improving customer satisfaction
Usage Scenarios are often delivered as a story board and descriptive tools that help bring the scenario to life during the design process. Task analysis is usually captured in detailed reports of steps, context of use, dependencies, timing, and other task characteristics.
To keep the end user and customer front and center during the design phases.
