It’s one thing to know that a product has usability issues, and quite another to know exactly what needs to be done to solve the problems.
By focusing on how customers actually use the product, Akendi helps to diagnose weaknesses in product usability, and pinpoint the priority areas for design improvements.
How We Do It
After consultation with you to understand your business goals, we will create a product usability test plan and protocol that the diagnosis will follow. We then recruit participants, arrange for test facilities, coordinate test sessions, and record both quantitative and qualitative results and observations.
Methods that we typically use include:
- Structured one-on-one interviews with product users
- Observing users as they attempt to complete tasks using the product
- AV Recording users’ interactions with the product
We will analyze the results to identify root causes of usability issues with the product. These will be provided in a comprehensive report with prioritized recommendations for usability improvements.
