No matter what that setting is, a medical facility, retail outlet, bank, library, service centre - you name it - the design of that setting plays a role in users’ experiences and has an effect on the effectiveness of usage. 
Akendi extends its Human Experience Design Process™ to environmental design to ensure that a physical space assists customers, clients and users so that their interactions within your space are all you want them to be.
How We Do It
Through onsite research and spatial analysis, we determine how users are currently interacting with the physical space. We consider the user’s 
behaviour and needs, traffic flow patterns, signs and labels as well as the context of the interaction – all elements that comprise and influence the environmental experience.
We then create a design for the space that helps you meet your goals, improve traffic patterns, optimize the floor layout or product placement, or create a better system of wayfinding (signs and labels). The proposed design will focus on ensuring that users can easily find what they need, navigate efficiently through the space, and find their way intuitively.
